A new book on visual perception and what it means for the way we experience the world: The Space Between Our Ears: How the Brain Represents Visual Space

And there's an interesting article on the effects of exercise on the brain, following a study that devised a fitness program for monkeys (thus making it easier to control the environment). Bottom line is the exercise didn't have any measurable effect on memory, but did sem to increase alertness and concentration.

I've finally got round to updating the news on Alzheimer's research.
